Not Just Another Fish In The Sea

It's a whole new year, and one of my crafty goals is to do more challenges, both online and in print.  Participating in challenges can help stretch creativity and provide a great jumping-off point when one feels "stuck", though that sometimes means the results stray from the original inspiration.

This project is a great example of how far I tend to stray during the creation process; take a look at my inspiration {Freshly Made Sketches (#67), Stampin' Royalty (#157)} and the results...

Here's a close-up of my millions of fishies (before I touched 'em up with a white gel pen)...

...and a peek inside, too.  I thought the two-part saying from the set One in a Million, was a perfect complement to my school of fish, so I continued the fish on the inside of the card.
