Christmas Garlands and Goodies!

My kids love the newest addition to our holiday decorations - this cute (and quick) garland!

If you haven't made one of these for yourself, you can check out the directions here.  I can't take the credit for this one though - it was one of the festive decorations from our demo team party!

Now, I know this table looks a bit empty, cuz it is.  I didn't get a picture of the overflowing yummy-ness once everyone arrived, but I did take a pic of the most scrumptious holiday dessert ever:

...and I even have the recipe for you, thanks to Lynn Z. and

Chocolate Trifle
1 brownie mix
1 - 3.9 oz pkg of instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup of water
1 - 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
1 - 8 oz Cool whip
1 - 12 oz Cool whip
1 - 1.5 oz chocolate candy bar  (she used Andes Peppermint Crunch baking chips)

Prepare brownie (or cake) mix according to directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8 oz Cool whip until no streaks remain.
In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture, half of the 12 oz. Cool whip and some of the chocolate candy (Andes Peppermint Crunch). Repeat layers. Garnish top with candy. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back with more Christmas crafting inspiration soon!

Thanks for the recipe! I forgot to get it! It was so yummy. We got involved in the game and I didn't get a second taste so now I can make my own.
